Where my aunt lives, there is a military camp. Behind the walls of the camp is a Banyan (also known as Peepal in Hindi) tree. As she was sitting on her roof on a beautiful sunshine filled winter day, she saw someone or something climbing the branches of the tree. She knew it wasn't one of the soldiers as it wasn't wearing a uniform and no one else seemed to see it. It frightened her and she felt that it was an evil spirit climbing in that tree. She ran from the roof and into her room in no time flat. This happened sometime ago.

I used to live in a big house and every time I came out of the bathroom or my bedroom I would bump into a blond woman wearing a white nightgown. This happened for months before my mom told me she would also bump into the woman and thought she was me. We looked at one another, surprised that we'd been seeing the same thing and then had the same thought: We had a ghost in the house.

My family once lived in a big house in north central Arkansas. One this particular day, my nephew was over and we were playing hide and seek. I was hiding in the office that connected to the living room. He couldn't find me, so I jumped out and scared him. He ran into the kitchen and I followed him. I was completely out of the office and one the other side of the living room close to the kitchen when I heard something behind me. I turned just in time to see the antenna come off the TV and come flying towards me. It hit me in the eye before I could react. I was scared to be in the living room by myself after that. This wasn't my first experience in that house. I had always felt that there was something in the house but after the antenna incident, I felt that whatever was there was after me for some reason.

Perfume

With Halloween right around the corner, I made a call among my friends for their true ghost stories. So far, I have four stories, including one of my own.

Now I present to you the first of these stories

I work night security in a government building that is over 100 years old. I've had several experiences I can't explain. Including one I had very recently.

One night as I was doing my rounds long after the cleaning crew had left for the night, I unlocked and entered one of the offices to check it... and walked face first into a mist of perfume. I could still see the mist particles in my flashlight's beam as if it had just been sprayed. Unperplexed, I simply said, "That's a nice scent. What is that?" Of course, I didn't get an answer back. At least that I heard.
